Welcome to Nursery!

Nursery

Spring 1

Happy New Year! Welcome back after the Christmas break, we hope you had a lovely time celebrating!

Welcome to all our new children joining Little Ants Nursery.

This half term we are learning about Winter time and Frozen Lands. We will be talking about how the artic is different to where we live and looking at the different animals that live there.

In our maths sessions we are continuing looking at numbers up to 5, and starting to introduce some simple shapes.

As always our children in early years learn and develop through a play based approach.

Please ensure you send your child to school in their uniform -

  • Red jumper, with or without the logo
  • Yellow polo top
  • Black/gray trousers or skirt
  • Black shoes

We will be learning outdoors as much as possible, please remember to send children in appropriate clothing -

  • Wellies
  • Waterproof coats
  • Hats
  • Scarf
  • Gloves

Please send your child in with a photograph of their family or post this to tapestry to add to our family board in the classroom. Thank you in advance.

Tapestry Journal

'Tapestry is an online journal to help record all the learning and fun of children's early years education.'

Please download the Tapestry app and make sure you have registered to receive updates on your child's progress. All parents will be provided with a log in and password to access their child's profile. Please do not hesitate to ask for support with this,

Our door is always open and we are always happy to meet, chat and listen to parents.
